That is so cute, Carrie. My previous dogs would often take a mouthfull of food and then carry it to the dining room so they can eat it on the rug, but I have never heard of a dog actually carrying his dog dish to another area. I can just see the carrots being spit out.

And congratulations to Hannah for her spectacular weight loss. Now I just wish my Hannah could do the same, and me for that matter.

I just watched my neighbors rottie eat steamed zuccini squash. Hopefully she only likes it cooked or my garden is in trouble this year!!

Speaking of weight issues...I knew we had all gained weight over the winter (I'm not even going to discuss me), but I have cut back tremendously on what Honey and Lilly eat. Well, today was Honey's annual examination. She had gained 18 pounds since this time last year (she had just turned one then). She was 55 pounds this time last year, and a whopping 73 today! Well, I thought 18 was bad, but what if she had been weighed before I cut back on their food two months ago. But the vet said Honey was fine...wouldn't let her get any bigger though. She got her microchip today and I feel very relieved to have her all fixed up!
Fruits and veggies and less treats for a while, Honey. Sorry!

hi all. alex-the-wonder-dog loves his fruits and veggies. the only thing he has turned down have been raw spinach leaves, but he loves steamed and blendered spinach, go figure. when you feed veggies start slow, the extra fiber can be problem for some dogs.

Yes, welcome Joyce. I love the title of your home page. Why can't I think of cool stuff like that?

I think Cinder is smart to keep that info to herself. We all love that little GSD so much, we'd be at her doorstep knocking at the door if we knew where she lived.
Then we'd want to come in to see the where all the nawteedawg stuff takes place.

uhh, i made a mistake when i entered the web site www.baddogs.com it is NOT my home page, i thought they asked for my FAVORITE web page. i am truly sorry that i misunderstood that line and i do not want anyone to think i have that page. i am sorry for that confusion.:O
alex is your basic black mystery mix dog, some lab, some terrier, some who knows, just a lot of sweet doggie.
i live near 161 and 71 on the north end of columbus, i was living on the east side when i found alex as a puppy, so he is the native columbian in the house.

Joycenalex, like I said Welcome aboard! Nice to have someone so close!!
I had to tell that I bought Shai a can of Natures Recipe Allergy formula today. It is Vegetarian. Thus far she hasn't eaten it, but she has eaten very well today. If she doesn't nibble on it I will have to put some beef or chicken broth on and see if she eats it. That is how I get her to eat "plain" dry food.

I had to dump the can of vegetarian dog food, even with the beef broth on it!! Good thing I didn't buy 2 cans!!!!
I tried giving Shai a carrot chip the other day and she spit it out!! The same witha spinach leaf!!! She just doesn't do veggies!!! When I buy Alpo beef stew canned food she used to eat everything but the carrots and peas!! There would be peas and carrots in her dish!!! Brat!!
But she does like the Nature's Recipe with the carrots and potatoes, she didn't spit them out!!!!
