posted by Pam: Wow! That really is working your way down in size! Isn't it great that dogs come in so many shapes, colors and sizes. There is one out there somewhere for every individual taste! >>>>>>>>

LOL! That is a big gap, but I always had a soft
    spot for toy poodles.

A chi and a Rotti, that must had been such
    a cute sight.

I love the combination I have now - German Shepherd/Lab/???. I don't know what I'll do after Sam's gone. She's irreplaceable, I don't know if I could have another dog after her. I guess it would just depend on if I found one that "spoke" to me like Sam and Rags did. If there's a connection, it doesn't matter what kind it is.

I really don't know there are so many breeds out there I like.

My husband has always liked the Saint Bernard. So we may eventually end up with one. And maybe a Chow or a Miniature Pinscher.

Well, it really depends on the dog and the situation we're in at the time we get another, but Brian and I have several "favorite breeds" that we know and like to stick to if they're available! Some of those include: Labs, Danes, Dalmations, Greyhounds, and Huskies! We're not limiting ourselves to those breeds, those are just our favorites that we will probably stick close to!

so many breeds , so little time *sighs*

most definatly a border collie (aussie red n white), english staffy, any mutts that need a home i would probably have another Rotti X Heeler (good combination if you have the time and training skills needed for such a mix) Ohhhhhh a boxer is a must have for me *love em* maybe even a lab one day (a black male)

lol plus a greyhound and a JRT, and more Chihuahua's and a Sheltie, American staffy aswell, oh and a shar pei lol

dont worry i would never have enough time to have all breeds listed, but the 1st lot are definate future canines
Rhi *Hooman* Clover *Rottie x ACD* (RIP to my BRD) Elvis and Tinny *The BCs* & Harri *JRT* Luna *BC x*

GSD, always a rescue GSD (probably a bi-color the next time)...and maybe a Leonberger to go with that GSD. But in reality, it will be the one who needs me the most.

I would love to get a mutt!

As for purebreds I really want another sheltie and I want a husky. I may even look into Dobes, Australian Cattle Dogs or Westies. I would really like them all to be rescues but however things turn out...

more border collies! and maybe a border jack or 3/4 border, my mom is getting a jack(fingers crossed) soon from a lady in calgary who has a 2 year old female for sale, just the size and leggyness my mom once, and so fare sounds perfect, she is going to call us so she can give my mom more info etc.. on her personality and what not with my mom luck! but I am getting another border collie, when misty starts rrunning possably from happys sister(member of club so we get only the best of the litter and have to keep them intact, because well we will have the breeders best.) or I might get a 3/4 border also from happys sister, differnt dad nitro, he is a border jack and absolutly gorgous! our club took th epup with the best health and structure(perfessionally rated, he got a perfect score for structure from all 3 people who checked them) I havent decided yet, depends when punch decides to go into heat(she has an irregulare heat cycle) hopfully it will be later(misty wont be running till november) I would rather the pur border collie!

I'd like a bicolour too. I love black shepherds, but the gold highlights are very nice.

I have vowed to myself to never buy another dog - only to adopt from shelters or rescues. In the future, when my dogs die of old age, I'd like to get a Great Dane mix and another Shepherd mix, or maybe a pit bull mix or rhodesian ridgeback mix or . . . . hehe

My husband really wants a small dog. But no matter what we get it will be a rescue, and probably a mix.

    Thanks for the siggy, Lexi_Lover!

Someday I would love to have a female Collie. There's
other breeds I'm interested in too, like Pembroke Corgi,
Greyhound, Golden Retriever, Bernese Mountain Dog,
Welsh Springer Spaniel, Old English Sheepdog, but after
experiencing a Collie in my life, not sure I'd choose one
of those breeds over them. I love my lil' Cairns, but it
is nice not having to worry about aggression and having
a dog, whose world revolves around you.
