Like Edwina, Boo finds excessive showing of tongues distasteful. But I did manage to get one.

I forgot this one yesterday. This is Ma-Gee, she belongs to my mom. She can be found with her tongue out almost all of the time, she is only 7 years old but all of her teeth have fallen out and therefore she keeps her tongue out almost constantly.

Nakita looks like a goof in this one.

I'm loving all the tongue pictures. My two are NOT loving meowmie chasing them around the house with the camera trying to catch a tongue pic .... and being very unsuccessful at it to boot!

I don't know if you were here yet, Redhedd, when I posted my way of getting yawning pics - which sometimes result in tongue pics. You wait until they are sleeping. Let them sleep until they're really heavy sleeping, then go and poke them to wake them up. Have camera ready because usually they will look at you like you're a demon, then they'll give you a nice big yawn, then tuck the head back down and go back to sleep. The only thing is you have to have the camera on the ready as soon as you poke them, because sometimes the yawn comes sooner rather than later. You might want to try it first with a couple of practice pokes to get the timing down.

Another good way is to get the camera when they are into a heavy bath session. Just sit right there and snap away until they're done. Don't try and aim or wait until the tongue is out, just snap away. This will sometimes result in at least one tongue pic, but I have been known to end up with a lot of almosts and no tongues. Although you have to make a note - only try this if you have a digi camera otherwise you will waste a lot of film and money.

Hope these tips help. I'd love to see little tongue pics of your two.
