Youze Guyz Missed a GREAT Partee!

Dint fink we'd be goin this mornin - RAININ Pawz & Klawz! Trakter Kar ackted lika BOAT gettin to da street! But it quit rainin bout Columbus; SunnyBall popped out; an Dad started smilin!

Notta klowd inna sky when we pulled in (an stayed that way till we left!) We almost got sent uppa street to the "alternate parkin lot", but da guy sed he thunk there wuz a kuppla spots "somewhere", an we could look. We wuz Barkin like FOOLS while Dad hunted a spot. Found Roxey & Huney along wiff Miz Anna & Hubby Mark rite away.

Trotted round the Park, lookin at allua displays, hole BUNCH Rescue Dawggies lookin fur homes, *watched* sum guyz doin the two Agillitee Courses (Dad sed sumpin bout not wantin to "barrass" himself iffin WE tried! Allua dawgs runnin da Courses looked like they been doin sum SEEREUS prakticin!)
Miz Jennifer & Hubby showed up wiff their two Beautiful Snow Dawggies an we all wandered round summore.

LOTTA Treetz ta be had jest fur da *askin*!
Allua vendurz an Rescue Folks seem'd like they wuz expeking Dawgz -
ebery tabul an tent hadda bowl or box a GUD Bisquitz!
Nice *sit* or a *shake* got ya sumpin ta *munch on*!

Da Hoominz got hungree jest in tyme an bought out da ONLEE hoomin grub vendur. WE gotta learn ta *mynd our tabul mannurz* a lil better! Da three Snow Dawgz an Huney got ta sit rite wiffa Hoominz (an ate chikin offa fork) - WE gotz tied to a durn tree an onlee got a lick offa Dad'z plate. Dem udder 4 dawgz wuz jest disgustinly well behaved!

Watched da "Stoopid Pet Tricks" show (ala Dave Letterman) - Dad sez we gotta do an ACT next tyme. Winner kuld "Bark To 10" countin hiz hoomin'z finnerz.

Affore we knowed it - the Partee wuz ober!
Park had a REELEE NICE big lake; so Huney, Roxey an us went down ta check it out...
Onlee took a minnit an Dad pulled off our bamdannaz, unsnapped our Y-thingy, an sed "OK - Jump In!"
We wuz onna dock/pavilun built out ober da waddur...
Sorta HIGH-up above da waddur!
I went furst (wiffa lil *shove* frum Dad.)
Ker-SPLOOSH! Waddur wuz nice an warm. Chikin Cinners missed da furst round; but I started doin dives all by myself. She gotta *shove* frum Dad an decided it was OK-FINE wiff her... we dove an swam till Dad got wurried that mebbee we wasn't *spozed* ta be swimmin inna Ducky's Pond .
Then Dad tried ta give Roxey *swinnin lessinz*...
She duzint *like* waddur too much; but he gotz all four of her pawz inna waddur. Mom sez she'll "werk onna swimmin" wiff Roxey. Miz Huney jest *shook-a-hed* - mumbled sumpin bout da waddur wuld ruin her hare do...

We all tooka stroll round da Park to dry off; then sed our G-Byez.
Az iz our *kustom*, Cinnerz an Me wuz asleep onna back seet affore we pulled outta da lot. Dad must notta been too tiurd this trip - we flew home 30 minnitz faster than we spent gettin there!

Well; dat'z my Tail - an I'z stickin to-it!

GOING was not *phunn*...
Rained like crazey half way; plus we got stuck
behind a HazMat load running with a Highway Patrol escort that was preventing ANYONE from passing it! THAT lasted for about 30 miles - with an average speed of about 40 mph!

232 miles each way!
4 hrs 15 min to GET there ;
a Zippy 3 + 1/2 hours on the Fly home.

But well worth every mile and minute -

It turned out to be such a beautiful day
And OMG! there were soooo many doggies there! Just about any kind you could think of.
We got there a little late to enter the dress up contest but we did get to watch some of the end of it. They all looked sooo cute!
I'm uploading some pics now as I type, so I will get them posted asap!
Sorry I didn't report in last night, but I was stung by a bee yesterday & my whole arm was aching. I got stung in the pit
