Neither of my pups do much of anything like that!!!
Buddy's fav thing to do is spend every waking second touching me to make sure I don't leave him!!! (silly silly boy!)

And Sierra, she ... umm... sleeps......howles at passing fire trucks ... yeah....that's about it!!!

None. But Ginger does like to play "fetch" with the ball or one of her stuffies. Sometimes Ginger runs around the yard like crazy when she is really hyper.

Ruff doesn't do to much anymore sometimes he likes to play fetch though.

Used to show all the terriers- a lot of work-grooming-the stripping of the hair; the trimming; the chalk to make the hair nice and wiry. Whew, one year I lost 19 pounds just running with them in the ring.

    Just curious,

My mom told me that show dogs can't be fixed or otherwise they can't compete. Is this true?
If you're listening to this song
You may think the chords are going wrong
    But they're not
We just wrote it like that

When you're listening late at night
You may think the band are not quite right
But they are, they just play it like that

It doesn't really matter what chords I play
What words I say or time of day it is
As it's only a Northern song

It doesn't really matter what clothes I wear
Or how I fare or if my hair is brown
When it's only a Northern song

    If you think the harmony
Is a little dark and out of key
    You're correct, there's nobody there

And I told you there's no one there

    Yes

I believe someone more knowledgeable can provide you with the reasoning (like Airedalekisses perhaps), but from what I was told, it was because the dogs couldn't be "altered" in any way, however I could be wrong.

Yes this is true. Too bad really. They like them to show as much "masculinity" and "femininity" as possible.
    I've been BOO'd!

they don't alter them b/c the whole purpose of conformation(showing) is to chose breeding stock, so an altered dog would not be of much use

I do agility with my Collie, Oz and we're having a blast!

I wish I'd have discovered Earthdog trials, when my terriers
were young enough to participate. I know they both would
    have loved that.
