That is what I thought, that they must have wanted girls. Cashew went home with another little 8 week old kitten........a girl. I figured, since they could have chosen one of her brothers, but chose a different litter of kittens, it must have been because they wanted girls.

The people who took Kiwi want to also get a third cat, and they want it to be a girl!
    Go figure.

Jen, the kitten picture of all four eating together are adorable. You did a great job. I would never be able to foster kittens. I would keep them all.

Oh, Jen, what a great job you have done raising those kittens, they are so healthy and beautiful, it must be such a wrench to let them go, no matter how much a good home they are going to.
As to the boy/girl kitty thing, I just don`t quite get it, when I picked Ebby it was because...well, because she was Ebby, if that makes any sense?...nothing to do with her being a girl kitty. But I guess people have their reasons.

They are sooo adorable, and I'm so happy they all found good homes. You did a great job, Jen, on your first fostering venture.

If I had been to the adoption fair, I would have been looking for males. I've fallen in love with male cats because they're so loving and generally easy going.

    Great job!

You should be proud, Jen, of yourself, Bonnie, and those BEAUTIFUL BABIES!

Thanks for all the great pics of the growing family along the way!

I totally agree with everyone...once i fostered them ,i couldnt let them go..., i soon would have a house with 13 cats living here!! HEHEHE, not that there is ANYTHING wrong with that, mind you Anyway, you did a great job and it must be nice to see, that after all of that hard work, they get to go to their very own furever home

Jen I am sure you are having up and down emotions. Seeing your little babies grow up into healthy strong kitties and go on to new homes must give you sense of happiness and accomplishment. I know, though, that you will miss their silly little kitten antics and sweet little faces as they leave you one by one. I think at some point you will probably just have to do this again as you have passed "Foster Mommy 101" with flying colors. Great job!

    YES.
This is what I am calling my first SUCCESSFUL foster.
meaning I did not keep any.
Bonnie is hopefully going to help me with little Chevy (my new foster project.)
