Mini Pet Talk Meeting At Wolflady's House

Thank you so so so so so very very very much for posting these! They came out great! Maybe you should have a side career in animal portraits!
KAK and Amberlee were a delight and it was a pleasure having them both down to my home. Needless to say, Marius, Scooter and Sergei were VERY spoiled! They just loved their aunties KAK and Amberlee! It was a fun-filled day of furry faces, food and flicks! HA! We ended up seeing more furry kids then originally thought I ended up dragging KAK and Amberlee to PetCo out on the interstate where there happened to be representatives from the Bay Area Siberian Husky Rescue and a cat rescue from Hollister. OMG! I fell in love with the 3 year old malamute named Miaya. She was so sweet and calm! Of course we had to go inside and hold some of the kittens. Amberlee was cuddling with a cutie patootie silver tabby kitten and I was goggling over a kitten that looked like a baby reincarnation of my mom's RB cat Socks. After our PetCo. jaunt, I took them over to the San Martin animal shelter where I'm volunteering during my free time of being laid off! I had to show both KAK and Amberlee this grey kitty that I want so badly! We looked at and cuddled with some of the resident cats, and we also looked at the dogs.
We also made a trip to the local library that was having a book sale (Amberlee just went crazy! LOL) and I even bought a bag of books, then we had to pick up my copy of Harry Potter 5 at my local bookstore. After all of that running around, we came back to my house and had some yummy eats and watched movies and of course, played with cats! I was so amazed at how good Scooter was! He even crawled into KAK and Amberlee's laps!! We discovered that he has an affinity for doritos and white cheddar cheese-its! LOL
Sergei was awfully shy at first, and there was some time there where I thought he had escaped the house! Finally he came around and turned on the charm, and of course cuddled with daddy. KAK and Amberlee brought treats for my babies (thank you ladies!!) which they loved! All in all it was a great day, and it moved so quickly! The kids can't wait to see you two again! Thanks again for taking those pics, KAK! They came great!

What wonderful pictures. I think I am in love with Marius. I must have totally missed Sergei's arrival......what a beautiful boy he is.

And isn't he smart being a Daddy's boy?

It sounds as though you all had so much fun. I would never be able to visit those shelters and come home empty handed..........never!

It was a MARVELOUS day! Aunt KAK brought a cat-warming present, too, that was the hit of the day. Did I miss it in the photos? (The fur-with-feather-tip cat toy?) Marius played like a kitten with that off and on for hours. At one point it was put up on a cabinet and during dinner it suddenly was WHISKED off the cabinet. SO funny!

We make an excellent team for barbeques, if I do say so myself. Keep reminding myself to post the fruit salad recipe in the recipe thread.

What great pictures! KAK I love the close-ups you were able to get!!! As always, Marius and Scooter are their handsome selves and it was so nice to see pictures of Sergei, the new kitty on the block.

I loved all of the picture and really can't pick a favorite. I smiled at the caption where Marius is on the cooler. Maybe he thinks it is a giant shoe box and there are shoes inside!!! LOL! Silly boy Marius!

I am jealous of course and would have LOVED to be there, but 3,000 miles separate us! Andy said if I ever go to Cali he would like to come along and meet Marius (that is if he can ever get over his shyness!) I think I'd need to take him to "kitty therapy" for that!

Your welcome Karen. Taking animal portraits as a side career is a dream of mine. I'd love to see your furkids again but first you must come up and visit my furkids and AmberLee's too.

That newbie Sergie is a real beauty! What a beautiful tail..., and that "elevator butt" really cracked me up, he he! My Maya does that too. What a great idea to take a picture of that! You gave me a super idea and excuse to take more Maya-pics

Definitely! We can do a furkid visit and Pet store jaunt! Hmmm...when is a good time for you and Amberlee??

Thanks for the compliments on my furkids everyone! They just LOVED all of the attention! I am still amazed at how social Scooter was! That was very unusual! Must be the Pet Talker charm!

Legally Blonde 2 starts on Wed. July 2nd. Since the movie would probably be very crowded the first opening week maybe the following Saturday would be better. This would be Sat. July 12th. Does this sound good?
