How can anyone call THIS kitten ugly!?

I'm not really a cat person-got badly scratched and bitten as a child-I forgave the cat! But how can anyone call an animal ugly? I'm also an artist and I drew a warthog that won best in show-so no animal is ever ugly! what's the old adage- beauty is in the eye of the beholder-well the people who said the kitty is ugly must be heartless and blind and jealous -maybe the kitty is going to get more attention than they will. just the opinion of an old terrier lover!! and I'm sure everyone else on this site!!

I wouldn't want you to think of this when you look in her eyes.

Both kittens are adorable.

I've never seen an ugly cat yet. I don't think that they exist. I can't wait until you finally adopt her. I'm sure she's a sweetheart too.

As my Dear Mother used to say , Beauty is in the eye of the beholder! And I agree with my friend Jen that anyone who calls this Cat ugly is Blind. And I wish that they would heed the words that if you have nothing nice to say , dont say anything at all! people today have little disgression , thy think thatthe world has to hear everything that they have to say! Feh! As Major Hoople was wont to say!

Perhaps because she is a solemn looking kitty they mistook that for unfriendly. What she is doing is looking deep into your soul with the wisdom that is passed down -- cat to cat -- through the ages! And SHE knows a good soul when she see one!

Ahhh, I wish my mom and her bf would understand some English, so I could show them all your comments here!!!

The problem with my mother is that she's absolutely in love with Luna, she seems to think she was the most adorable kitten ever (and yes, Luna had the cutest baby face indeed!

), I hope when she meets Lily in person, she will like her (I hope this kitten is really going to be Luna's little playmate, 'cause I'm still not 100% sure if she's a girl).

THAT is a very good point, Rose! You're right, I should try to get that comment out of my head, it wouldn't be fair to refer to that kitty as "the one they called ugly" 'cause she isn't.

Edwina's Secretary, that's an interesting theory. She really looks as if she's having a certain knowledge... cats are indeed fascinating creatures!

misery loves company, and sometimes people get annoyed when others are happy! (Why? I have no idea, but people act weird at times!)
That was a rotten thing to say, all of God's creatures have beauty, and that little angel has exceptional beauty!!

Do you know what type of cat she is?

I have no idea! Her mother looks like a "normal" tabby, she resembles Luna, only that she's smaller and her markings are not as dark as Luna's. But like Luna, she has a lot of orange in her fur. I have no idea who Lily's daddy is, but I know the mommy was dating two black cats!
