I have made my dogs a webpage, It started out just as some pictures and info and has turned into over 50 pages of things on topics like animal abuse, neglect, cruelty, puppy mills and animal testing. I even set up a page with the help of our local animal shelter of all the hounds for adoption. People think Im crazy but its fun and you meet really great people.

ATTENTION EVERYONE WHO POSTED THEIR DOG'S WEBPAGE: How do you get all of the backround designs, and all the little adds that say and have, the little brown puppies all piling up and says something like, "Neauter or Spay", and Carl's says, "The Rottweiler Ring", and the little things on the side like on jackiesdaisy's webpage that say, "Kona", and "Perry", or something like that, (if you know what I mean)!! Well anyway, HOW DO YOU MAKE SUCH "DETAILED" WEBPAGES????? Somebody help me! I don't know how to do all of these things!!

Ok, first of all I suggest either www.homestead.com or www.geocities.com for easy web page building. It takes a little while to learn how to do everything. You can search around the internet for free background or free images and add them to your site. You right click on them and save them to your computer then you have to upload them to the site. There will be a lot of trial and error while making your first page. Just test things out and you can always delete anything if you don't like it. Homestead and Geocities both offer templates to make things even easier. I am pretty sure both sites also have sections where they explain more to people who don't know what everything does. (Yeah I just looked and Homestead has a Take a Tour and Tell Me More link).

I had the site with the spay/neuter buttons bookmarked but I can't seem to find it right now. Here is another site with a few buttons like that on it: http://www.geocities.com/Petsburgh/Z.../graphics.html
I will get back to you when I find that other one with more buttons.

I make alot of my buttons, like email and guestbook signs. I also make my own backgrounds because my dogs are mixed breeds and I can't find backgrounds that really look right.

I use Photo Impact 4.2 and Adobe Photo Deluxe 2.0 . If you don't have these programs and if you would ever like anything made I would be glade to do it for you

Great job LabLover! Love your colors, and the story of Sadie is very sweet! Can't wait to see the pics! Did I tell you? Star is very small for a lab too! (Around 50 lbs.)
