The good news is they have a great feeding stations setup for these cats...the bad news is .... it's obvious they're not fixing them. We will drop off literature, offer our assistance if needed, and let them know how little this can cost them. Let's hope they're willing to have them fixed and returned to this location. A lot of people just want them hauled off...but with them feeding this may have a happy ending.
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers

I hope it works out, K & L. There's obviously a caring (but hopefully just naive) person feeding them so hopefully s/he can be educated about desexing.

    ***UPDATE***

We talked with the people at the Nursery. They said the cats they have that actually live there are all fixed. The group we saw are being taken care of by the people next to them. They said these people are working with someone that is helping them TNR. SO....good news! We gave them our name, etc. and told them we would gladly help if needed! WHEWWWWWWWWWWWWW looks like this TNR stuff is getting around!
