    Window kitties!

    Did you place those cats there? Or do they do this on their own?? I think it is the cutest thing I have ever seen!!!

    Francine, you are a cutie, and what a fabulous tail. It's sweet to hear what good friends you and Doobie are. How could no one want you? Now you have the best of homes and have grown to be a happy, healthy cat. Congratulations on being our Cat of the Day.

    Thanks For The Kind Words

    Thank you so much for all your kind words. I must admit, in my opinion, Francine has the most unusal markings I have seen on a cat. She is such a good cat. I sometimes wish the other three were more like her, but I know that individual personalities is what makes my cats great. I gave her some catnip and her favorite catfood in the pouch. Yes, it was wonderful Mother's Day persent. Thank you so much for all your congrats and words of praise.
    I must tell you my tomcat, Manny loves to chase her around the house. He thinks Francine is a hottie.

    Francine's Coloration!

    I was commenting how unusual her colorings is... Then when I looked at the picture on the couch I realized what she really is... Francine is a silver patched mackerel tabby... So you are seeing the patching in the reddish brown coloration and the silverish colors in the markings... It really is quite striking... With shorter fur that is how it PURRsents itself...

    There is a whole RAINBOW of kitty colors!!! I find the unusual ones the MOST interesting!

    Our breeding queen Rainbow Joy is blue silver patched classic tabby with white... So she had all kinds of genes to make all colors of babies...



    Here are the babies at 7 weeks...



    Francine is a RAINBOW all on her own!!! A very special kitty as our COTD!

    Francine

    Mew, mew -- Catgrats on being COTD. You are beautiful. KatMa finds you look a little like my sister, Princess (b. May 20/86 - d. Oct. 4/2001.

    KatMa attached a photo of Princess so you can see her -- she was not a Maine Coon but a delicate little brindled calico. And a very nervous little girl too -- but sooo sweet and lovable.

    My KatMa can't figure humans out at all! Who could NOT WANT YOU? All animals are precious gifts to humans and all animals are treasures --

    KatMa believes that angels come down dressed as cats so that guardian angels can work undected. She truly believes cats are angels (pets are angels).

    Thank you again for all the kind words. All I know about Francine's orgin is that her mom was a chocolate point Siamese and every beautiful I might add and that the dad was a black tabby. I know the dad had been a stray at one time. All I know is that mixed breed cats have great markings. All I know is that Francine is my little girl since we have close birthdays we understand each other. Francine says hi and gosh all this fuss over little petite me. Catwoman761
