    A good example of dangerous:

That moron couple in San Fran that had the Presa's. I can't believe the irresponsibility and stupidity of those people. To have two huge, aggressive fighting dogs in an apartment! And they basically let them kill that poor neighbor of theirs. To me that's plain murder. They should be put away for life.

Now whether the people were stupid or the dogs were dangerous? I think it was a little of both. I love dogs, and I don't like to see them euthanized but I think those dogs were a danger and should have been put down sooner than they were.

Probably true....but that fact is that they were dangerous. Once a dog is dangerous how they got that way is a moot point IMHO. Some of those fighting mastiffs like that, they've got some sort of wild dog bred into them. It's like trying to keep a tiger in an apartment and calling it a pet. They're not all the way domesticated.

I think a dog can only be dangeriouse if they are raised to be, no excuses. I voted for pitbulls because they are soo labbeled these days but did you know : you are more likely to be bitten by a Golden retriever then a pit bull? I did, I did. It was prooven ... I herd on the dog show highlighting breeds.

Threads like this are only going to make people think badly of the most voted breed.

    Kayann--what a cute picture!!!!!!

I voted for Presa Canario, only because of that case in California--I realize that they focus of this poll is a breed that people may hear of or see and immediately think it is dangerous.

I also agree that it is always the human's fault--a dog is not born mean or nasty--people make them that way!!!!!

    Oh yeah, so dangerous.

I don't *think* this thread will affect anyone's opinion on a dog breed. All it is asking which dog has the worst rep. Not which one you hate. Unless some silly people take it to heart...

i really dont think any breed is dangrous it is just that the way that they were brought up maybe their owner was abusive to the dog then the dog might be just as bad because they might think that every person is like that......... i just think it is the way they are treated.
