Dearest Kooper, you are such a handsome and noble cat! Your beautiful green eyes beam with intelligence and dignity. You were a rare find indeed, and I can only hope someday to find your like sitting on my front step asking for a home.

I have been forbidden to go to animal rescue places anymore since our cat population swelled to four (if you can use the word "swelled" to describe that puny number) and my husband, usually so docile, sat me down and firmly stated that there were to be no more cats brought home. But what if one shows up at our door? I asked plaintively. He had no answer to that. So, Koopers of the world, draw straws and see who gets to come to my door and become MY Kooper! I promise you a good and loving home. Five is not a very big number at all!

Mr. Kooper looks as happy as can be. No matter what type of shelter he was in, it must be incredible for a cat to suddenly be whisked away to a great new life. As someone with almost as many cats, and the only de-clawed ones arrived that way, I'm surpised to see upholstery in the photo. There's not much of it left around here. Good luck.

He is a very handsome black and white cat similar to mine. My cat is also in the 14 lb range but she is an only cat.
