I voted the egg. Is the question about any egg or specifically a chicken egg.

If talking about a chicken egg, then it would be the chicken came first.

If talking any egg, then you have two methods of thinking:
1 - using the biblical creation idea, I think the chicken came first
2 - If you use the theory of evolution, then I think it would be the egg came first

Hmmmm........I go with the egg. Chickens hatch from eggs, but what made the first egg? If you're talking about any kinds of egg, there were dinosaur eggs, and dinosaurs came before chickens, right? Actually, I'm not sure........are there dinosaur eggs anyways?

Yes, there are dinosaur eggs. A couple of years ago they found an entire hatch of them...embryos and all.

I had to pick I don't know only because at the moment I'm slightly tired and my brain is not functioning properly so I've got myself thinking in a little loop, you know it's one of those things where I'm thinking the chicken had to come first because without the chicken there couldn't be an egg but without an egg there couldn't be a chicken, which just leads me back to the beginning, oh with the occasional stop at what would Gonzo say, which has nothing to do with the question.

As for what Chickens would say if they could talk..."Pick another animal to cross the road I'm getting tired."

well you got to think that they evolved over the years, the eggs would evolve not the chicken.
