We enjoyed the tip on how to find out if a kitty is mute. And we enjoyed meeting Miss T. Good luck.

    Dear All,

I'd like to thank you, all of you, for the nice words you said to Torquemada. She received the compliments with royal calm and thanked everybody with a "mrrrhhaw" (not exactly a proper meow, but still...)
About the name: we agree, Torquemada is a male - even macho - name. But - who cares after all?
In Romanian, "torc" means "I purr" - the rest is just playing with words. It was nice to see that our Moldovan friends recognized imediately the roots of the name (as we share the same language, more or less...) She is also called Putu (or Putulete), which means nothing, but started from "stay put!". Occasionally, she is called "Mitzis", a mockery of a Latin scientific name applied to a popular word for cat ("mitza").
But most of the times, she's called "princess or "daddy's girl".

Thank you again for taking time to drop a kind word to our girl.
