News Flash....Dandy has a brother!!!!!

Thanks for the compliments...he is just perfect!! I wish you could all hear how LOUD he purrs, and chirps...he also head bumps like its going out of style!

He was an injured stray that came into their shelter 6 weeks ago. He had a wound on his tail that wasnt from a bite, but looked like it was from being caught on something. The foster mom/volunteer, saw the wound and didnt think it was being treated properly, so she took him to the vet and he stayed in the hospital for 3 days. She said he was soo good in the hospital and so friendly that she didnt want to take him back to the shelter, but fostered him instead. So anyway, i really lucked out!

We wanted a male b/c i have heard for one, that is easier to introduce a male to a female instead of a female to a female...and we just wanted a male anyway...i cant wait to get them into some pics. Dandy is a little leary of him now, but i am sure she will get used to him. He doesnt seem to have a problem with her...he lived with 2 dogs and several cats before he came here.

When the foster mom was putting him in my carrier, she gave him lots of hugs and kisses and said if for any reason at all that he didnt work out, she'd take him back to her home. As long as he doesnt have Feline Aids...then this little boy has definitely found his forever home !

They are guessing he is about a year old...Dandy is about a year and a half.

I think that he and Dandy will get along fine...she just needs to get used to another cat...he lived with them in foste care...so at least i only have to worry about one of them adjusting! And she is very easy going, so i think it will be okay!

Yes Rachel and Logan, I am the grandma of this sweetie, and I was fortunate enough to be along for the trip which ended up with Guinness finding his forever home. He is just an amazing little boy. Coming home from the shelter, where we met his foster mommy, he was purring so loud we thought something was rattling in the car! I am not kidding! LOL! He chirps and is constantly giving everyone head bumpies and is soooo sweet!!! I am wondering if his new forever mommy and daddy will be able to sleep tonight with such a loud purring furbuddy tonight. Here is a picture I took earlier this evening. I have taken so many shots but they are a bit blurry so this is the best one of the bunch.

Oh and here is one of Pretty Miss Dandy Lion who is wondering what (or WHO) on earth has been brought into her palace!
She is just a little doll!

Oh goodie, more pictures. These two will be simply beautiful together. He does have that Panther look. I sure hope Dandy will enjoy her new brother's company. She does look a bit perplexed in that last photo, like ...Whatever would they want with him, when they have me?

How do these two compare sizewise? I'm guessing he is small for a male and I know she is a petite miss. How did the first night go? Hopefully he knew he was in his forever home and was relaxed. How do you manage keeping them separated? Just confine him to one room?

What a handsome fella you are. I love the name Guinness Patrick. I'd love to name a male cat Tully (from Tullemore Dew, my favorite whiskey.) I'm sure Guinness will get along with his sisfur. They are both such do-di-do cats.
