Oh SAS how wonderful. You know they used abys in developing the bengal breed. I wish I could get one too but Maya is the boss and I know she would make my life a misery if I ever attempted to bring in another cat. She doesn't mind bunnies though !!!! Yes, my plan is to get a male Aby in June. The breeder where I got Miley and Graemer offered to replace Graemer. I think she felt a bit responsible for having bred a kitty with such a weak immune system. He was quite the kitty when it came to Vet bills even before he got the bacteria infection. I guess he should have been named my million dollar kitty. He had a couple of emergency visits to the vet along with the routine visits. Anyway, I think Mindy, the breeder, wanted to be kind to me and offered another male - any color - and a couple of litters will be ready in June. So I plan to take one then. In the meantime, Miley has to have a friend to play with during the day. I didn't want to get a new Aby right now, since my heart is still broken from Gabe and Graemer's leaving. I like Bengals and was in touch with someone who has one ready for placing. As I said, the deal is not sealed yet so there is an outside chance that I will not get Ti (but I think I will.......) I hope to know tomorrow, as he was to go to the Vet for a clean bill of health.... The cat lives only 1 1/2 hours from where I live. I will keep you posted....and put my camera batteries on charge!!!!!!!

I suspect I will take the cat with the best disposition. Color isn't really that important. I have had a red aby in the past...these two were rudy.....I would love a blue...but really don't care about the color, just that he is sweet and loveable. It may end up being a female.... I just don't know. It could be that I will be happy with just two and not take the Aby. I am leaving it all wide open with lots of room for change and adjustment.

I just miss my other two so darn much. They were so much fun to be around. Gabe with his beer bottle tops and Graemer with his living on the ceilings....ehehehehehehe...there was never a dull moment. Miley is sweet, and funny, just not the same way or like Gabe and Grammy Crackers!

Sallyanne I am happy that you are deciding to take this next step. Ti sounds beautiful and I don't know very much about bengals so it will be interesting to learn about his breed through you, should you decide to adopt him. Your description about Miley when you come home at night was a heart breaker. Poor widdle Miley girl! I am sure she will love a new little 'sibling' and be happy to show him all around Camp Vermont. Here's hoping she doesn't develop a hot spot in the process!
