Aw Thanks Ya'll!!!!!
prima, Oz is about 8 mos old now. Seems like just yesterday
he was as small as Murph. Time has just flown by.
lovemyshiba, that would be Murph. Since he's the one sporting
the pretty pink harnass, I can see why he'd be confused
with Maddie though.
Sara luvs her tinky, Maddie's blind so even though she toddles
around exploring, she can't get very far, very fast. Murph does
pee on everything he passes, but he's not trust worthy off
leash, so he doesn't get to do any running around. Oz, however,
we do let off the leash, so he could be running around, but about
the only thing that gets him going is tall grass. He'll run and leap
through that, but most of the time he's too busy keeping track
of his flock to pay too much attention to things around him.
wolfq, Murph was very reminiscent of Reggie on this trip. A
stray yellow Lab wandered into our camp and Murph just went
berserk, so my friend put Murph in the tent to calm him down.
I'm holding Maddie and the next thing I know, Murph comes
sailing out of the tent, barrelling after the Lab. The poor Lab was
running for his life, with Murph in hot pursuit. My friend was
chasing after them, but realized she wasn't going to be able
to catch them before they reached the road, yelled out "MURPH!"
and he stopped and waited for her to come pick him up. So
he got lots of "Good Boys" for stopping.
anna_66, weeeelllllll Murph doesn't normally ride in a pack, so
he was none too thrilled. But the terrain was too rocky, for him
to walk long distances on. He did get to splash around in the
creeks and walk around on the dirt areas and pee to his heart's
content, so I think he still had a good time. Maddie's a couch
potato normally, so she just pretty much sleeps in hers. I've
no doubt that her idea of a good time, would be staying at
Grandma's.
ramath, I don't know if you noticed but in the one pic, Oz has his
right leg lifted up. Took him a few to get use to stomping through
the cold water. Actually not until he saw that Murph didn't mind
it.
