I'm so relieved that you never suffered, sweet Piccolo. We know that there is a precious angel in heaven and that you are sorely missed by your family. What a wonderful tribute they have made to your life!!! Rest in peace, dear Piccolo. And to your family, congratulations on having the Cat of the Day. We know he was loved!!!

Piccolo was a such brave boy, not wanting to show any indication of his ailment so as not to worry his loved ones . . . sadly, this is an instinctual trait of our feline friends.

PRECIOUIS Piccola, what a Lovely Tribute from your Humans, just two days shy of your anniversary! I see so much love in your pretty face! We too lost our orange tabby--he was six years old, but he too appeared NOT to have suffered! Like Piccola, he was so sweet and loving until the end. I know you are looking at us all still with those Golden Loving Eyes from the Rainbow's Bridge! I'm so sorry you have passed from this world, but I'm honored we all got to know you today and hear of the GREAT LOVE you brought to your Family!!! Until we all meet again, beautiful baby, LOVE FOREVER!!

p.s.--you can see a tribute to my tabby Tommy at my new website http://home.earthlink.net/~kjalen/Ginny/CatsLife.htm (under the link Gerri, which is his sister).

I am so sorry for the loss of Piccolo. I remember the day I lost my Genevieve at the age of only 12: April 15, 2000. She was diagnosed with intestinal cancer, and with chemo (which cats tolerate better than humans) she was able to live comfortably for four months before her quality of life deteriorated. It was terrible to have to make that awful decision. I sympathize very sincerely with you for the loss of your beautiful boy.
