Attn Tubby & Edwina, 4 Cats from Vermont on a train!

Well, I finally got some information out of my cats, as to why they returned earlier than Samantha. It seems that Edwina had some reservations about spending more time with Gabe, once she saw Graemer. Gabe's feeling were terribly hurt, but then he realized that Miley was available and hey, she lives in the same house with him. So, it seems that Edwina and Graemer are now calling each other at night and have been making plans to get together the next time. Miley and Gabe have decided to take it slowly - this falling in love thing and they hope they can continue to be friends, even if things don't work out.

Anyway, poor Samantha had to come back on the train by herself. It was Gabe's idea to leave early even though he is the one who created the problem. It seems Winny was not wild about the amount of beer Gabe consumed - and preferred the wine drinking Graemer. Graemer is also younger than Gabe and I think Winny prefers younger men.

So, I shall be careful when I send my three off the next time.

Oh my!

I had no idea that there were such goings on. Samantha and Tubby had such a wonderful time and they never hinted at anything so unsettling as all this. Poor Gabe to be rejected after such a long trip. But lucky Graemer! Hopefully Gabe will grow on Miley because I thought she wasn't too hot on him - but that must be why they're taking it slowly.

Such are the perils of introducing your family to your beloved.

My poor cold, cold heart! I turned around and Gabe was gone...sniff.....



and to think he left me for Miley...who brought me all those gifts and claimed me as her idol..HUMFFFF!!!

So I'm alone...alll alone... drowning my sorrows...

Ok,ok Filou just told me his heart is split between Inka whom he knows and who has a similar character than him and Nakita whom he adores from a distance.

Dearest Winny,

I know that you had a relationship with Gabe and were quite fond of him. I truly feel our relationship has much more potential because we have much more in common. Although I like Gabe, I think he has mood swings and at times can become quite aggressive. I, on the other hand, have a great deal of energy and can be considered a real "love bug"... I was even nice to Gabe when he first arrived.

So Winny dear, please be my Valentine this year? I will send as many flowers as you wish - and a box of chocolates from "Lake Champlain"....

Wow! I hadn't realized what went on with the other cats that were with Samantha and Tubby!
Samantha said she really didn't mind riding the train home alone, it was much quieter without the other cats.
She said she slept most of the ride home because she was so exhausted from staying up late the night before talking with Tubby.
Now that she is home, all that she can talk about is Tubby this, Tubby that, when Tubby comes here to visit, Tubby Tubby, Tubby...

I'm blushing!!! All this attention...I'm beginning to feel whole again after my traumatic experience this past weekend.

I must admit those ears of yours...they are like seashells -- pink and delicate. And that long, sinewy tail -- OH MY!!! And your playful and mischievous disposition is so cute -- and intriguing.

Tell me, Grammy Crackers (if I may call you that)....are you STILL nice to Gabe?!??!!?? (SOB)

So that's what all the racket was! I woke up a few times and was wondering what in the world was going on upstairs, but I figured I'd leave the love birds alone.

Tubby has been kinda quiet since Samantha left. I don't know if he's feeling quite his usual self. He threw up twice yesterday so he might have caught a touch of something when he was out and about seeing as he's not used to all that activity. He's been on the couch non-stop since, with the occassional foray to eat and use the litter box. Maybe he's got that darn love sickness.
