Hi everyone I am new here.Love my shiba, what a sweetie.I am biased too.One of my puppies is a similar shiba puppy named Byakko.I love her so much.It sounded like a shiba mix to me too.

The link was made when my Kori passed away but the new puppies were added except the most recent pom mix which hasn't been added yet.She will soon be added.I have a friend with a camera but we are all snowed in id I can get some more pics I will put them up.I love shiba's too and I love your pics.They are so adorable.

Yes, I think you're right -- it must have been a Shiba mix. I saw another neighbor walking a Shiba (I know because I asked him), and the Shiba was about 10 pounds smaller than the dog I originally saw. But the characteristics of the Shiba were identifiable in my mystery dog.

I love to see pics of shiba pups, because we got Kito when he was 8 months, and we didn't get to see him when he was a wee puppy!!

Gosh, then all of the rare ones must be in my neighborhood.

There is a white Jindo next door to my home, there are any number of brown Jindo's on my block. The Jindo is known as the Korean fighting dog and many Koreans like to have them as they make excellent guard dogs. Sadly they can be very aggressive with other dogs and they will attack if they are on the loose.

I think the dog I saw was more delicate than the Jindo, with a shorter muzzle, but it's been a while...thanks for trying to help identify the mystery pooch!
