    Sue,

I really don't know what to say. I was so happy for Bandit
and your parents that he had come through surgery o.k., I
really didn't think about more test results. If God does need
his Angel Bandit back, I hope He also gives you & your folks
the strength & courage it will take to let him go. I will pray
for strength and for healing. I am so very sorry at this news.

My heart goes out to you and your parents.
If it is any consolation to you, miracles do happen.
My sister's shitzu was diagnosed with a terminal cancer and
was given 6 months to live.
That was 9 months ago and she still show
no signs of sickness. I am sending you and
yours lots of good wishes and prayers.

    Karen

Thank you all and my parents thank you. I know that you all know what we are going through. We are blessed by the love of our pets and no one but those who love them back with all their hearts (as we all do) can share the pain. Thank you all for sharing the pain with us. I know you are all here for me and my parents and we take great comfort in this. What a special group of people you all are. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Bandit is having difficulty breathing a bit and can't get comfortable at night. He still enjoys his walk and barking at all who pass the front windows. Tomorrow he sees the specialist and I told her to ask about some cancer treatment called Navy Protocol that someone recommended on the cancer board.

Thanks for all your prayers and for asking about him!

Bandit went to the specialist today. He took two radiographs. The dr. said that he doesn't look ready to die yet!! He has a rare malignant skin lymphosarcoma. He vet said that there are less than 10 dogs in the world who have this condition. I still don't know what the technical name is or even if they have one. The vet is in contact with all types of drs. and vet schools so my parents are getting a lot of imput on Bandit's condition. They don't have a clue how quickly it will overcome him. When his breathing gets bad, though, they will drain his chest cavity to relieve the problem. So, all in all, the news is a guarded OK for now. Little miracles, I'll take them!

Thank you for all your prayers!

    I'm almost afraid to say it, but...what a little miracle, YES!!! I'm sure your family is taking some much needed comfort and perhaps finding just a little bit of hope in this news! We'll keep praying Sue!!! Bandit is one fighter!!! And it sounds like this specialist is doing everything in her/his power to help him!! I can't believe it...only 10 cases in the world. Give Bandit a hug for me when you see him!! {{{hugs}}}
