Oh dear, I'm so sorry your Mom and Dad are doing well right now. The important thing is that they are getting the appropriate medical attention and best of all, they have a wonderful, caring daughter who is watching over them. I am so sorry to hear about your parents both having health problems. I will remember them in my prayers. and you too, because I know how it is to have both parents sick.
It is hard to see them get older, and change from the way you remember them from childhood. I hope things get better for them.

Update on my dad ....

Things are going from bad to worse.

Now in addition to the infection and the high blood pressure, he has now been diagnosed with sleep apnea, and has to have oxygen at night. He HATES the idea, and probably will be stubborn and refuse to do it.

Also, we got his test results back. The doctor said his bloodwork shows signs of "prostate problems" - he didn't come right out and say cancer, but it was heavily implied. We have to get him in to see a specialist, ASAP. My friend's father died from prostate cancer a few months ago.

Also, my brother-in-law is was admitted to ICU yesterday, with severe pneumonia, that is not responding to treatment.

Bad things come in threes, my grandma used to say. I guess it's true.
