You truly have a beautiful coat and I love its color. I have a Maine Coone that is black with white paws and a white belly. She loves walking on me in the mornings or sitting on my keyboard to wake me up for her can of food. I think you have a wonderful name and Maine Coons are the peace makers of the cat kingdom and loving animals. My Maine Coon when she was 3 months old helped my oldest cat in the litter box after my oldest cat came from from getting her shots and being spayed. Then later that day while my oldest cat was sleeping in her cat bed, my Maine Coon dragged a piece of felt from my craft table and put in on my oldest cat. Congrats on being COTD. You deserve it!

Awwww, catwoman761, your Doobie looks so sweet in that photo, and that is a very precious story of how she helped her "sibling" that day! From what I've heard, Maine Coons are very gentle and cuddly, like you said, the Peace Makers! I love their fluffy fur, like your Doobie's and like Sugarberry's! I think it's so pretty how Doobie has Maine Coon fur with Tuxedo-like markings!!! I think each kitty born is a unique world of wonderfulness all their own! I loved "meeting" yours too!!! Thanks for sharing!
