Jeffrey and Bandit play tug-of-war with thier toys. Jeffrey is much stronger than Bandit and always manages to pull the toy away. When he pulls really hard and Bandit stumbles, Jeffrey always brings the toy to Bandit, allows him to get a good grip, and off they go again! So funny to watch!
Genia,
I don't know why, but after almost a year (a year in September) Graham the Aussie mix and Cassie the puglett still have not played....once! Strange
Once in awhile Cassie will try to get Graham to play but she does not try anymore very often because he ignores the poor lil girl. Well at least they don't fight![]()
Leslie...You're breaking my heart!! Tell Cassie I would play tug-of-war with her in a minute! When I had my last two dogs, my Whitney was always the one who initiated play but Ashley would eventually join in. I hope they will become good friends even yet at some point. Don't give up!How is the little puglett feeling after that terrible accident? Kisses to her!
Hey Pam,
Cassie's doing OK, sometimes I hear that tooth grinding in her mouth when she tries to drink water and it's kinda grossShe has surgery this Thursday to get it taken out and she's going to get a dental while she's going to go under anisthetic anyway. I am worried about her. I hate knowing that my dogs are having any kind of surgery
I just hope she pulls out OK and she only has the one broken tooth and not more in that mouth of hers.
My poor little smashey face girl![]()
Cassie's going to be just fine and will feel so much better with that tooth out. Don't worry, instead concentrate on her being fixed up like new. We will all have her in our thoughts and prayers on Thursday.
This is a late post regarding what silly things your dogs do that make you laugh...there's something that Graham has done since I adopted him that's really funny and seems to be really unique too. It's kind of embarrassing to mention though, but I know you pet talk people would not get too disgustedIt took me awhile to get up the nerve to post it
Well when I get home from work Graham is VERY happy to see me. He gets very excited, rolls over submissively exposing his belly (side effect from the days when he was abused), his little stubble's going a zillion mph, and low and behold...he has a bananna in his pocketAre there any other owners with male dogs who get banannas in their pockets when they are happy to see their owners? It's the funnies thing
He has never ever tried to hump anything so I know it's not him wanting puppies, he just gets so excited that he baloons up...if you know what I mean. I thought about whether or not I should post this, but I am curious to know if any other male dogs do that when they are happy to see their owners?
Hope I have not said too much
-Leslie
Sometimes my Australian shepherd, Bandit, knows when I'm not in too good a mood and he will try to snuggle at first, and if that doesn't work he rolls on his back and sticks his legs straight up and just lays their and barks! He's a sweetie. We used to have to pick Bandit up and put him in the car (at about 65 lbs. its not easy!), but now he loves to go for car rides and when I get in the back seat (he has to sit in the back of the jeep where their are no seats) and he jumps right on in and sits right on top of me! He used to be afraid of the car! Now its hard just to get him out.
I believe the funniest thing he's ever done was when I took him to a friend's house and they had a big rottweiler mix (the sweetest dog in the world) and an australian cattledog. At the time they were tied up because they were loading and unloading the horses. Well, I had Bandit in the back up the jeep while I got out for a sec. Bubba (rottie mix) put his front legs on the back of the car and Bandit and Bubba just sat there and stared at each other. You couldn't hear either one of them growling but by the look on their faces you could tell they were like, "Get off my property" and "Get away from my car" It was so cute. But once we untied the dogs and got out Bandit they got along just fine.

Leslie, I am laughing so hard, tears are coming to my eyes, and yes, my dear sweet Tucker, on occasion gets sooo happy that he has "a banana in his pocket" as well. The really funny thing is not having had a male dog since I was young, I initially didn't know if this was a "condition" or something. He had been through major surgery several weeks before I got him from an intestinal blockage and then all of a sudden the parts were less than private!
What could be wrong? I finally calmed down and deduced that parts are parts and stuff happens.

Adore, That's too bad that Cassie and Graham don't get along. Bandit was a little hesitant at first but Jeffrey is so lovable. I guess he bugged Bandit so much that Bandit finally gave in. I wish it ccould be the same for your two.
Poor Cassie, things have been so rough for her. I hope the surgery goes well. I'm sure it won't be long before she's back to her old self. I'm keeping you in my thoughts.
Leslie, No you didn't say too much. In fact I'm not sure you said enough for me to figure it out!Would this be what I have observed in the past few months with Buddy-M/N dog -are you saying its like the bananna slips out of the pocket?
At first I had wondered if this was normal as its been many years since I had a boy dog.
I hate to let it out of the bag (poor Smokey) And I could be wrong, haven't had a male dog in YEARS. But did Smokey show his 'nanner in his pic, He looked like a guy with his zipper down!!![]()

he is still beautiful!!! and so is Cinder!!!
No his bananna does not show it's self, his true bananna stayes inside the peel, but the bananna swells up 3 or so times it's normal size![]()
His little doggie weener becomes....um....well, lets just say alot bigger then normalHe gets so excited that he gets a doggie erection. This happens when I leave him in the house for an extended period of time (while at work, out to dinner or movies, grocery shopping) and when he greets me he always goes belly up so I can see what excitement had done to him
Is this a normal thing? It's a little embarrassing sometimes when I walk in the house with a guest because the guest usually asks "what's wrong with his "thingie?" How do I explain that my dogs gets a doggie erection when I come home? A little humilating but he's a boy dog and hopefully it's not all that uncommon!
LOL!!!! I noticed Smokey too but it just reminded me of my Cody. Doesn't happen as often anymore but of course it's was always in a photo or when I'm talking to the neighbors. I swear, anything to embarass me!The pitbull 2 doors down goes BANANAS when he sees me, plops on his back for a tummy rub but at that point I say no way! The owners yell at him "put it back" but they say he only does it with me. I guess it's a compliment?

I guess boys will be boys! One cute thing Cody does is wake me up with a teeny kiss on the nose! Can't possibly get mad!
