    I'm just curious....why? I didn't think there was anything bad about the microchip.

    None of my dogs have tattoos, but I was going to get Nebo microchiped on Saturday.

    The only bad thing about the microchip is that over time it can move away from the spot where it was inserted. So if the dog was scanned, it might not show up because it migrated to another part of the body.

    I'm curious too Ann? The tattooing is much much more painful and has a very high chance of becoming infected if not kept clean and covered for weeks after it is done.
