Ahh - a marbled cat! 'Twas such a cat that broke into my life 12 years ago and shattered my self-delusions about being a cat despiser, forcing me to recognize and confess that I was really not a hater but a lover of cats. That cat had the personality of Thor - not this, gentle, good-natured, sweet Thor, but the fierce, roaring, lightning flinging God of Thunder Thor. The Whole Kitten, Kaboodle was fierce and tough and his claws flew and slashed at the slightest provocation and unlike Thor, woe be to anyone who dare to so much as lay a hand upon his inviting belly. Yet, it was this ornery fellow, who looked so much like Thor, that brought me around and made it possible for me to write - not with shame or embarassment but with pride - on Cat of the Day.

But of course, no matter how much resemblance Thor and The Whole Kitten, Kaboodle, bear to one another, this thread was not created to honor old 'Bood Boy, but Thor.

So I now pour out all my honors upon Thor, so beautiful, so elegant in his little blue collar and bell, and also upon the humans who have given him a place of love and care from which to build a life.

And that is all I have to say about Thor and his people! For the moment, anyway.

Thor, you are such a handsome boy! I can tell how much your humans love you because you are so clean and well-cared for. And you must love them a lot too to wear that little blue collar and bell for them! LOL Happy COTD to you sweetie Thor.
