the last few days have been the worst for weather in california.

the santa ana winds blew like crazy, not a good thing for hair and cats. i had a bad hair day made worse by coming home and having my cat zap me with static electricity (of course, wearing
fleece did not help), It was a classic standoff, me standing there
waiting for some loving and eddie looking at me with a level of
disgust i hadn't seen in, well, days.

the other electric related story is my clock radio...

i choose the 'snooze option' to put me to sleep (an hour's worth of talk/music), should i wake during the night, i'll hit the button for more so i can go back to sleep. the other night i hear a scratching noise above my head and thought nothing of it.
that same day i hit the room light switch, the radio pops on and scared the crap outta me.....a few days later the radio is blaring
when i get home.....

apparently someone has learned by scratching the top of the radio it will produce noise to sleep by...


i am sure there are people with stories of garage door openers, remote controls or ????????

now, if i can just get him to use a calculator and write checks...
