    Trees Changing Color


    A tree changing color on Southway Drive in Bowmanville,a little early starting,next month is going to be warmer than normal and the precipitation a little below normal.This thread will be about leaves changing color.

    There are no trees changing down here yet, but I am sure over the next month it will happen. It is always the swamp maples that change first, and any sick or damaged trees, but it's interesting each year. I miss our maples!

    I'll have to remember to get some pics of the colors in this area. I'm in the mountains and it can be beautiful.

    Colorful Tree


    A tree changing color on Simpson Avenue,South of Soper Court.This tree is about 2 weeks early changing color than last year,that was around October 10,2011.

    I love fall. We'll probably drive up to the Blue Ridge mountains in NC and VA when the colors peak... probably a month away. Then on the other hand, we might just drive around in our Piedmont area which has good color but not the great views.

    Oh yes, it's definitely the time of the year... Ours are also beginning to change; fall is here.

    Sunday Colors



    Half a Maple Tree changing color at Flett Street and Jane this morning and one on the corner of Southway Drive and Simpson Avenue.
