Oh how fun! Hi, Barbara and Seigmar! Great to see you again! We are currently living rather closer to Walden Pond, so I think of your visit here from time to time!

And great pictures, as always, Kirsten!

Thank you, Karen! Unfortunately, I'm living too far away from everyone else!

Documenta is always exciting but it was special to walk Karlsaue Park with Kirsten who sees things in art and beyond and can grasp the atmosphere with her camera.

    Glad you like it, Robin!

Barbara, I hope you and Siegmar spent a nice Sunday in Kassel and had a safe trip back home.

Glad to hear that. What did you see on Sunday?

Oh, and btw, do you remember the flyer we saw regarding the lost little dog? Heard today she has been found and is now back in the Netherlands with her humans.

Went to Kulturbahnhof where we liked the scrap and saw that installation of William Kentridge (one of things with a queue but well worth it). Then second part of Fridericianum where we managed the rotund this time. We did not have time to go to Neue Galerie and the Weinberg - you never have time enough.
Glad to hear that doggie is home, after I had read the card on the tree I was not sure whether she was stolen!

Oh, yes, as it seems, she had been stolen but when that person heard the owners offered 500 € as a reward, she called and claimed she had "found" the dog in her street. Obviously the reward promised more money than she would have gotten if she had sold the poor doggie. However, these are my own conclusions but since the newspaper article says she "claimed" her reward, and her information on how she got the dog were pretty nebulous and fishy, it's most likely something like that. Anyway, I'm happy the little dog is back with her humans now. And the Documenta director has invited them to come back to Kassel to visit the Documenta now since they have missed most of it last week 'cause they were searching for their dog instead. Hope they'll be able to enjoy it this time!

I missed William Kentridge's installation (there was also such a long queue that day I've been there), but I heard it's great! Heard the Neue Galerie is also worth to be seen, but I agree, there were too many places this time to visit them all within two days...
