I have to admit I'm a Tuxie fan by default (see Grasshopper's pic over there <--) but my first cat as an adult was a great big orange tom we called Romeo! I loved that dude. I dnoticed orange cats seem to be male mostly - any comments about this? I am curious if that is the male cat's answer to the Calico female thing!! )

Congratulations, Capers! You are a gorgeous male. So hope that you have a wonderful day, sweetheart.

Here is Star my oldest cat

I call Star my Princess cause she acts so regal. She will be 4 years old New Years Day. She loves her cat condo. The only problem is when I take her picture she wants to come right up to the camera. LOL

Cuddly Capers, you're cute as a pumpkin!!! You must just LOVE the feel of the warm beach sand under your little paws, but I agree with Catmandu, don't confuse it for a large litterbox, ha,ha!! Your ears do look very soft, and I'm so happy you have such special caring parents! If you're typing on your computer today, I hope you clicked on COTD and saw your beautiful photo shining up all of our screens!!! I'm so happy to meet you! I really miss our orange male tabby named Tommy. You know, I think Kohala's right, every orange tabby I've known has been male. I wonder, that must be true to the breed--good point!!!!! Happy Saturday to ALL, especially Cute Cuddly Capers!!!!!

Capers I am sorry to be so late in congratulating you on your very special day! I am a big fan of you orange boys, having one myself! It's so nice that you get to experience the beach. Sandra is so funny but so right - what a big huge litterbox that is!! LOL! It's so nice that your mommy remembers your sunscreen too. Sounds like you are enjoying life to the fullest and now here you are as Top Cat! Congratulations Capers - you are our Super Duper Cat of the Day!

Yesterday, running through the muddy woods (I am a hasher), I met a big, beautiful, orange TOM cat. First, I thought, is this kitty a male or a female? How could I even doubt? He had the same small nose and round chin
You are gorgeous, Capers! I am very happy for you that you "met the right humans" as someone said before, and for them, that they met the right cat. A cat that has the same hobby - the beach.

Please tell me what a hasher is. Someone who runs through muddy woods to find cats? Sounds like a good way to make a living.

"Hash House Harriers" is a worldwide running club. Here in Chisinau, we get together and run on a trail every other Sunday. It is a fun club. I know, in the States, there is at least a club almost in every big town. I could send you more info, if you're interested.
