    We had a PAWTY!!

My 2d Annual 4th of July Pawty was originally scheduled for Saturday. But after 5 days of rain, my mostly clay back yard was a soggy spongy mess, and I had to postpone the event until Monday evening. Two folks and 5 doggies couldn't make the new time, but the rest attended and we had a grand time, if I do say so myself! The weather was perfect, warm (low 80's) with low humidity.

These photos are in no particular order.

Busy back yard - Mattie and Sassy arrived in new, matching harnesses and collars!

Tasha was SO excited to see all her friends! And I believe Pebbles thought this was all HER pawty, as she knew every one, he hee. Last year Chris came w/ Pebbles, so we missed Chris this year; but Pebbles got to attend, lol!

    Greetings!

I had Frosty Paws for the dogs. Sugar ate quite a few.

Tasha did too - - I know, because she spent the next few hours throwing up as always. :vomit:

Piper was quite focused on hers, right to the end.

Typical pic, Lacey on a chair. That is Paula next to her.

    The Neverending Adventures of Willy

I should know by now, been living with him 11 months. All of us, people and doggies, were in and out of the house often, I kept most of the food inside. On my kitchen table.

At one point, Willy was left alone inside. Once I realized, I went in, but I was too late. There he was, UP ON THE TABLE, sampling all my star shaped cupcakes. He seemed to prefer the frosting to the Red Velvet cake, so a few had nibbles, but lots had licks.

And when I hollered, "WILLY GET DOWN!" he had the nerve to look at me, growl! and take another lick! THEN he got down.

This boy is SUCH a challenge to work with!

    Thanks Barb and Monica.

Monica, you KNOW if you lived closer, I'd have a time for Doc and Delta - and Mz. Logan too, lol! - to come over!

It has taken time to build up this group - well over 2 years. Tasha was my impetus for doing things like this, as she needs so much socializing!

That looks like quite a pawty - I can see you had fun, and I think at least the dogs are looking forward to the next!
