    My sickie boy

Pouncer is sick again We have a vet appointment tomorrow that I've had for a while now, but I called to see if I can get hime in sooner because he's acting blocked despite the fact that the vet said he "can't be" blocked.

He's been sooooo grumpy. Picking fights, being picked on. My favorite was the fight he had last week (before my camera went and died on me)

    Who's he fighting?

    Himself.

I know that Pouncer and Mr Scrappy will be there to see thier little protege, and help him get well
Poor Pouncer has certainly has more than his share of illness, hasnt he.
But Pouncer is a tough little Survivor, and we are praying that Your White Coats can heal him all up.

I hope it's nothing serious and that he'll feel better soon. Good luck at the vets.

    Oh, those eyes!

Prayers for Pouncer that this is nothing serious and he is well shortly.

They let me bring him in to them for the night. He gained soooo much weight - he's 15 pounds now! But I knew that because I couldn't squeeze his grumpy body into the carrier. Instead, I held him as hubby drove the mile to the vet.

I am praying he's ok and that I didn't hurt him by putting off this appointment til today. I couldn't get him there any sooner thanks to my crazy work schedule... today is my first real day off in two weeks. the only time off was spent at the dentist (fun ways to spend my mornings off!)

The vet called and said she hasn't gotten a urine sample from him yet. She also said everybody loves him. Her exact words were, "just touch him and he purrs." Thats MY boy.

I think she just wants to keep him overnight for her own selfish reasons

At no extra charge, of course.

Pouncer baby, you don't have to protect Allan any more...I hope you are all better soon!

My sweet twitchy tail boy is back from the vet. Its exactly as I diagnosed: infection - to be treated with antibiotics and a course of steroids.

The surprising thing was NO CRYSTALS!!!!

The vet thinks the problem was the food change a couple weeks ago, which is ok because he's been back on his regular food for a week now (I had bought a different flavor of the normal food because Petco was out of the normal flavor)

The vet also thought it was funny how he sat in his cage and watched everything. She said he knew who was doing what at any given moment. He does the same thing here - there's nothing he misses.

I simply adore my twitchy tailed-grumpy boy sweetheart
