    hi doggiesarethebest!

I know I can't believe how big he's gotten so fast either.
I think in another couple of weeks, Murph will be able to
walk under him without even ducking his head. I noticed
the other day that Oz is starting to play gentler with him,
so as he gets bigger I think they'll still be able to play
    with each other.

    hi there anna66!

Luckily they're not really aggressive about the food or the bones.
What was happening is that Oz wouldn't pay close enough
attention to his bone and Murph would just wait there patiently
until Oz got distracted and then snatch his bone away. So
Oz has learned not to mess around, when he gets a bone now
he gives it 100% undivided attention.

    hola ramanth!

I whole heartedly recommend having at least 2, when it's
feasible. I think one of the reasons Oz has been such an
easy puppy so far (*knocking wood*), is that Murph helps
me tire him out, so he's too pooped to get into any trouble.

I can't believe how big Oz has gotten!! What a beautiful doggie he's growing up to be! Nothing like a good game of tug a war to tire out them pups! I have yet to get a good close up of my Cody's blue eyes indoors; better luck outdoors! Thanks for sharing the pics!!

    hola taxs!!

Not only is he big and beautiful, but he's turning out to be a real
sweetheart too. He's already won me and Murph over and is
slowly but surely, wheedling his way into Maddie's heart too.
She was actually letting him sleep with his head resting on her
back legs, when I went home for lunch today. I couldn't believe
    it.

Cody's a lab right? I've never seen a lab with blue eyes,
that must make him quite striking!

awww, they're so cute! collies are one of my favorite breeds i also thought he was growing quickly too.

    hi there prima!

I gotta tell ya, I braced myself for all the work and hair pulling
that having a puppy would bring, but Oz has been unbelievably
easy so far. I know you're interested in Shelties and they're
suppose to be even easier to train than Collies. The only
real issue I've had with him so far, is he's got a tendency to
want to communicate everything to me with a bark, which if I
lived in an apartment would be an issue. I've been doing major
rewarding for quietness and telling him "Enough" when he barks
too much, so his barking hasn't been overly obnoxious. Shelties
are suppose to be even worse about the barking, so that
would be something to consider in your decision making.
