This morning we gave up our precious Kallie to the Rainbow Bridge. Kallie was a precious soul that came to us 17 years ago. Since she was not afraid of us we assumed she was abandoned, and estimated she was around a year old when she came into our heart. For the last few years Kallie had lost her sight and her hearing, a side effect of Diabetes. She adapted well to the small world that became her home. Kallie had our bedroom, bath, and Sunroom memorized even thought she depended on bumping into things to find her way. Over the past year she had developed renal failure, and in spite of our efforts, she slowly wasted away to but skin and bones.
Her sisters Katiebug and KK and brothers Fritz and Hobo welcomed her home when she crossed the Rainbow Bridge this morning.
Kallie you were loved and will be greatly missed.
