and calling Smokey Buddy.

I forgot about Buddy.

These people used to be on their porch when I'd walk Smokey and before they moved they decided to talk to me and they thought Smokey's name was "Buddy" or "Bud" cuz they would hear me say something like "Come on, Buddy" Or "Lets go, Buddy" . Haha. Nope.

manda99, your post just made me remember something. Its not about a dog nickname but about the nickname my husband had for me. It started by his calling me Babe which progressed to Babs, anyway, there was a new friend of his who, as Fred was always calling me Babs, thought it was short for Barbara and called me that or Babs. We thought it was funny and didn`t let on for ages, and no, he was`t mad when we eventually told him, he thought it was funny too.
