    I tan nicely...only on my arms. in other places I am white as a sheet and burn burn burn! I wasn't careful one summer and I was miserable for weeks due to a huge burn on my back. People wonder why I never wear anything more revealing than a t-shirt in the summer lol.

    My dad has already had to have some spots removed and he uses sunblock regularly. I take that as a hint to not push my luck.

    I hope your friend will recover! Such a scary thing to happen to someone so young.

    Spoke to Erin, the cancer has NOT spread and the two other moles they removed were cancer free. Thank you PT, your prayers I know helped.

    I definitely think young people who tan should take skin cancer more seriously. My dad just recently got skin cancer from years of being outside on the farm, and although it's not the most life threatening skin cancers, it could easily become melanoma.
    If you want to look tan, you can get spray tans. I'm guilty of not wearing sun screen all the time in the sun, since I don't burn easily, but since this happened to my dad I'm going to.

    Great to hear your friends cancer didn't spread, I hope she will be completely cancer free soon.
