My dogs and my cat are certainly my children. One of the girls I work with wants me to start a scrap book for Kylie and Keegan but I am holding off for some reason. (I don't spare expenses for them either, but sometimes since I am single I have to let logic win!!! ) But the one thing I have been thinking of doing is doing one for Shaianne. An in memory of book. But I am afraid it would upset me too much to do it. I saw a greyhound on tv today and cried. But then I got to love on one at the doggie park tonight.
I definatley spend alot of money on my 2 pets. That is one reason why I won't let myself get another dog. B/c then I couldn't spend as much on them. Shaianne when she was alive and now Keegan both stick their heads in the store bags I bring home thinking something is in there for them! Which there almost always is!!!!
When I first met Anna and Amy at the dog park we were watching Roxey and Keegan play together and I said "it is really just like watching your children in a park, making sure they don't fall down, get into fights, etc!"
I may someday get married and have children but I will always have a dog. I agree that my dog will never want to drive my car, get mouthy, or throw a royal raving temper tantrum in the middle of Walmart! I get offended when people at work say "you need to find a man or have a kid you take too many pics of that dog." Noone says that to people if they take too many pics of their kids. At least my dog is cute, some people can't say that about their kids!!!!
