I have 2 lap firkids, Fawn and Tiara. Tiara will immediately jump in my lap the moment I sit down to watch TV. Fawn is not as fast about discerning the situation ( he has the typical male cat clumbsiness), It is also getting so that Tiger will want me to sit down with her, being a lynx-point Siamese, she will pester me until I DO what she wants, whether it is feeding, or sitting down with her for a few scritchies. I am noticing that Nightshade is becoming more of a lap kitty, but is still reluctant to just jump in my lap. He usually comes only when there are others already laying there. I believe that my adopted neighbor's cat whom I am going to name "Sunny", will also make a lap cat, even though he is a large cat, I have been feeding him in the house in order to get him accustomed to coming inside with my other menagerie, He howels loudly with eyes as large as saucers, and hisses a lot at them , but today he came in further than he did last time I tried this. Supposing that it is a matter of time before he becomes one of the gang. I do not want him to be outdoors when winter gets here.
