I had my darling girl put to sleep this morning: here at the end her kidneys were starting to fail too, and the doctors assurance that she wasn't in much pain didn't ring true with what I was seeing of her changes and behavior at home.

My home feels so empty without my precious girl. Cassy seems confused, too. I just ache.

AmberLee, I'm so sorry for your loss. When you called me I was shocked to hear this sad news. Too many PT cats have been going to Rainbow Bridge lately. I wish I could say something to ease your pain but just remember that you did the right thing and now Livvy is pain free and at peace and playing happily at Rainbow Bridge with my cats Starr and Pepper and many other PT cats. Every time I see a new, familiar, name in the Cat Memorial thread, I just hug my boys and kiss them over and over. They're getting a bit tired of it now, so I hope this stops! My thought are with you on the loss of you dear Livvy. She is out of pain now, and thanks you.
