I love Conan. I really enjoy David Letterman, too, though, but for different reasons. Variety is the spice of life! And, I don't think Conan and Jimmy Kimmel are anything alike. I like that Scottish guy, too, but I can never remember his name.

I can't remember the last time I saw any of the late shows, though...I'm usually asleep by ten.

Conan is the better educated and most likely the more intellegent. What is funny is a matter of taste. I like silly, becaused I am. I am also 50 not too young or too old. I remember Lucy and Laurel and Hardy and Larry, Curly and Moe too. Love Carol Burnett and Tracy Ullman. I also like new and young and hip which Conan is.

O'Brien attended Brookline High School, where he served as managing editor of the school newspaper.[6] After graduating as valedictorian in 1981, he entered Harvard University.[7]
At Harvard, O'Brien lived in Holworthy Hall during his freshman year,[8] and Mather House during his three upper-class years. He graduated magna cum laude in 1985 with an A.B. in History and Literature.[9] His senior thesis concerned the use of children as symbols in the works of William Faulkner and Flannery O'Connor.[10]
Throughout college, O'Brien was a writer for the Harvard Lampoon humor magazine. During his sophomore and junior years, he served as the Lampoon's president.[6]

I really miss Jay Leno. I do my computer stuff when he's on so I decided to give Conan a try. He's OK. I prefer him to Letterman any day. Watching Jimmy Kimmel reminds me of my mom. I was shocked when she told ME about his show and that he makes her laugh hysterically! Ya just never know, do ya? I'm a real Kimmel fan. I love his humor. He's as quick as a whip.

  4. Once upon a time I was a big Letterman fan. Today...IF I could stay up that late I would watch Jon Stewart's The Daily Show and The Colbert Show....now those guys are usually (not always...) VERY funny!

I do try and watch the reruns the next day....

    My order is:

    Jon Stewart
    Craig Ferguson
    David Letterman
    Conan O'Brien

and the rest I can do without. Kimel irritates me. I thought Jay was a bit of a sell out. Haven't really seen Jimmy Fallon. I'm warming up to Cobert.

Where have you gone, Johnny Carson?

Go to the Slauson cutoff, then Cut off your Slauson.

Yep, Johnny died a while back. He was a master at making me laugh!!!
He could crack me up by just a look. He didn't have to make fun of anyone. I loved it when he had the animals visiting. One of them got on his head once and relieved himself.

I guess everyone is too old to remember Jack Parr, but he was funny.

Then came Johnny Carson & I liked his show as well, David Letterman is
a local guy who made it big in the big city. He was assigned as a weather
man as a first job on local TV channel. He was the funnest weather guy
    I ever heard.

I remember Jack Parr, but not real well. I only got to see him when I could sneak in when my parents didn't know I was watching. That was way past my bedtime then.
