    Floppsy, I think a pillar in this sense means a central and important member of the community Karen may be able to elaborate. A blabbermouth is a very nice way of saying the same thing!

    You become a "pillar" when you post 1000 posts. We're not in a contest or anything, but the software is set up to make you a pillar at that magical 1000th post. Many of us have been here for a long time (2 years or more) and achieved that status a while back. In fact, I used to have another user name, lhg0962, and I had almost 900 posts under that id before switching to just plain Logan.

    The blabbermouth thing came about, I think, because I called myself one when I started hitting astronomical numbers on posts!!! I have so many pets that I have never have a dull moment!!!
