Hi Sue, I'm so sorry to hear that Killian has had a setback, I hope the new medication will work for him, he has been through so much and you are a wonderful Mom to him, never giving up, always looking for something new to give him, I don't think I have ever seen such dedication and love for ones pup. I will continue hope and prayers for him that this new medication will work.

Poor Killian has been through so much. Hope this medicine helps without doing too much to the liver. We'll be praying
I will be praying for your Killian. So sorry for both of you - And I will cont. to think positive thought that he gets through this set back.
Sue,
I am so sorry to hear of this latest set back for Killian.
It must be as heartbreaking for you as it is uncomfortable
for him. I will pray with all my might that Killian gets thru
this phase, gets to feeling better so he can enjoy life with
his wonderful, caring Momma. Strong prayers & good wishes
for Killian from me. Hugs. Liz.

I am so sorry SueYou must be terribly worried I can imagine. Killian has been through so much, I am hoping that he can pull through this latest episode sucessfully, and that the new meds will do the trick.
Oh please be OK, Killi man...we all love you so much.
Update:
The med he is taking does metabolize through his liver. He is on a small dose (for the size of a 60lb. dog, he is 106) and only once a day for 14 days. I have to watch carefully for any side effects. I hope this does not affect his liver.
There is no change yet. He yelped this morning and keeps smacking his lips with a quiver. It is so sad to see. I am trying to take his mind off of it by walks and car rides. It takes a few days for the med to work.
I am watching him like a hawk. So does Shiloh. When he lets out a loud yelp, Shiloh rushes to his side and starts licking him. Kinda makes your heart melt!
Thanks for your prayers. He needs them. I know I can count on you all.
Sue

I think of you so often, Killian, but I'm going to start praying real hard right away for you.
Sue, I am so sorry you have to go through this. Give Killian a hug and a kiss from me. And give yourself a huge pat on the back for all that you do for Killian. He's very lucky to have you. You two are very lucky to have each other.

I'm shouting the "Killi Cheer" too. I hope that the meds start to help very soon. It breaks my heart to think of him yelping in pain. Sue, I know this is so hard for you.
