    Sarafina's littlest baby. He has a name!!

    I am still worried about the smallest white boy. It's like he doesn't know HOW to suckle.

    I have been trying to help Sarafina (6 babies is a LOT to nurse) by bottle feeding them twice a day. Most will take a little bit, but not this tiny girl. he refuses. I do get some in him by using a syringe, but this is risky...I don't want to choke him.

    So I took all the other siblings out and kept tiny with mom, and he still couldn't settle in to a nipple (even with all them to choose from.)

    I am hoping that he nurses when I am not looking. he seems OK, just small. But I am afraid for him.

    Can we have a few extra prayers for this fragile one?

    Prayers for the wee one...was she the last one born, do you know?

    Maybe she is a bit physically immature, and will suckle when she is 'old' enough? How odd, not knowing 'how' to suckle. I hope the syringe can keep her going until she can take a bit of soft kitten food. Do you feed her Nutrical?
