Thnaks for your concerns everyone! Sadie is doing much better today. Yesterday she was really tired and wasn't too interested in kibble (it seem to hurt to eat) Her mouth is still a little sore, and although she seemed to want to eat this morning, it looked akward for her, but I just got her some canned food and she ate that.

I called out vet and asked if we needed to follow up and they said we shouldn't have to, as long as she is doing better. Cincy has an apoointment today anyway, so I will ask again and see about a sting kit to keep on hand.

Her last vaccinations were in April so that shouldn't be a problem.

I did take a half day (went in from 11-3 instead of 7-4) and Ralph stayed home all day. And I made a trip home for lunch today to check on her

Yeah, the after hours vet is a little expensive ($70 just to look at the dog) As luck would have it, I won a football pool at Ralph's work for the 1st week of games. The pot? The same amount as the vet bill

Again, thanks everyone for thinking of us.

I am really glad that Sadie is doing better. I can't imagine the worry you went through. I think I would have to agree with Mugsy though..... I would of taken the entire day off. Please give Sadie (and Cincy) a huge get well hug from me!!

So glad that Sadie is doing well. What a "coincidence" that you won the football pool equalling the vet bill!

I was just saying the exact same thing to Mark. I guess when they say "The lord provides" this is what they are talking about!
