Took in a feral kitten Thursday morning...*pics*

This is one of the kittens that a feral momma kitty had in my neighborhood... He is a male, and I *think* he may have siamese in him, what do you think?

Anyways, he is still very feral, but seems to know me well enough. He still hisses and growls, and occasionally lunges. I just lean in, quickly, and grab him up. He let me hold him twice tonight, and I even kissed his dark nosey (he was being held upside down, then he purred). I can not wait until he comes around, I have a feeling he will be adopted out VERY quickly. He sure is cute enough!

    On to the pictures...
    The hiss...

Please excuse the dirty carpet I used in the cage.. It was all I had. He is going into a HUGE cage tomorrow with better ammenities!

    FOUR MORE COMING!!!!

Aw, poor little guy wants affection, that's clear, but he's fearful right now. Ferals take time, as you know, but hopefully, he'll come around. You're doing a great job. Wishing you success in finding him a permanent home.....
    Blessings,
    Mary

Great job Katie!!!! Just looking at the pictures tells me it's only a matter of days before he comes around. When he lunges, don't back away, as it's a scare tactic. Papoose him in a towel with only his head exposed and smother him with kisses, gently whispering to him. In no time you'll have him eating out of your hand. The greatest reward is when he gives you head bumpies. Nothing like it!!!
