Absolutely Eve is our little cuddle bug and sleeping in our bed comes with the territory (hers, of course). And, I wouldn't have it any other way

Smudge prefers to sleep in a basket or box, on a chair, or on the floor next to the bed, but many mornings he'll hop up and give me a cuddle before I get up. If I'm sick or injured, though, he's right there, even if I'm just sad or overtired, giving me lots of happy warm purrrrrrrrs to help me feel better.

I lift Sugar, Lacey and Ozzy on my bed each night as part of my preparations for bed. Not to results in whines, whimpers, and all out barking! Then I have to lift them down when they want a drink, back up when they have finished.

Marlin has stairs so he can come and go on Dad's bed day or night. However, he DOES require a cheering squad to get UP the stairs, so the whole house knows if he got down for any reason during the night (water, security patrol, etc.)

The cats come and go. In general, Crystal sleeps on Dad's bed, the other 10 spend the night coming and going from my bed. This has been going on for over 10 years, not sure I could sleep on a stable bed! And of course, Tommy loves TOES, so I sometimes get woken up with nips.

Marlin and Crystal seem to have cornered Dad's bed for themselves; sometimes they allow Dad in, but the other pets are sternly turned away.

Of course, we have from 2-10 on the bed for the night. I love being purred to sleep.

After thinking about it, I should've checked "sometimes" because I'll let one of the Fur Posse sleep in my bed if s/he's sick or recovering from surgery. Otherwise, I need my space. I'm a thrasher. LOL

The dogs can come up onto the bed during the night or when we are home. The cats sleep in a seperate room at night and only have access to the bedroom when we are home.

At this point the dogs all sleep in beds with somebody, except Kyra. Jack with me when I'm home, otherwise he sleeps with my sister, Kyra in her crate, Micki with my brother and Mini with my parents.

In the future, you know, when I get my own house and stuff, I don't think I'll allow dogs in the bed and they won't be allowed on the furniture.

We used to allow them on the bed, but after we got our new bed we don't.

Not that I didn't love them sleeping with us, but it honestly just got too dirty.

Bon and Simba especially would run in the house and jump on the bed, even if their feet were a little wet. I even kept a sheet over the top and somehow the dirt still ended up on my comforter/quilt.

I do miss them sleeping with us, but it's nice to have a clean hair free bed

    I don't believe I've ever experienced such a bed.

Hair I'm used to. It's feeling cat litter between the sheets that gets me.
