I'm back home and reunited with the Girls!!

Finally!!! I came back home yesterday, after 6 weeks at the clinic. Six long and lonely weeks without my girls!!

My homecoming is overshadowed by a critical situation here in the house, concerning my neighbors. Can't go into details but I'm very worried. Not exactly the kind of welcome I expected and hoped for. But well, that's life, I guess...

Anyway, I'm more than happy to be with Luna and Lily again!!! My poor girls had to endure so much, even though my mother cared wonderfully for them. But six weeks alone at home, without their mommy, must have been hard for the girls though.

When I came back yesterday morning, they first seemed to be reluctant and confused, and Luna was even a bit scared of me. Could be that my scent was different after 6 weeks away from home. Maybe the clinic smell was still on me, who knows. I took a shower and after a while, the girls came to cuddle. Didn't take long before they were back to normal.

Will tell you more details of the hospital stay the next days; so far, I've been so busy with unpacking, cleaning and paperwork.

So glad you're home now! I'm sorry to hear about your neighbors. And, I'm a horrible person for sending anyone snail mail. So, I apologize that I didn't send you a card. But, I am always here for anyone that needs me through pm or phone. I hope your kitties adjust to you being home again soon.
