After some thinking, I guess, taking all things into consideration....

I really only like the conformation coat! That's all I really like about 'em, are their gorgeous coats! Maybe the shorter muzzle, too, but that's just being picky.

Unfortunately neither of mine have the beautiful coats the merles are supposed to be known for, but I still love them more than words, no matter WHAT they look like!

I would rather have a pretty dog that can work too. Breeds start getting into trouble when you start making a seperation between form and function. Just MHO.

I totally agree with Shelteez! I'd rather have a pretty dog that can work and do the job it was originally bred to do...
