But, see I disagree with their calculator. Different breeds and sizes of dogs have different life expectancies!

So i did it this way - as a human female in the US, my life expectancy is 80 years old.

Great Danes live 7-10 years, so we'll average that - 8.5, so Great Dane years = 9.4 years for every person year

Some mutts live a long time, we've had terrier mixes aged 16 be Dog of the Day, so let's say
16 - terrier mix years = 5 years for every person year


I am 38, so by their calculation I'd be 266.
But in Great Dane years, I'd be 357, and in terrier years, I'd only be 190!

And that doesn't even take into account the Golden Retriever I know who lived to be 18+, our OUR Great Dane, Gracie, who lived to be 14 1/2! Or the fact that my Great-Great Anut lived to 106, my Great Aunt on the other side to 92 1/2, her brother was 96 ...

ya'll check out the other site I posted, it is really good. It tells you how your age is in dog years. I was 3.14 years old. I am just a pup!

Yeah I was thinking that it can't completly work...because dogs have lived to be 18 years old but no person has lived to be 126 that I know of! lol
